Dispute Resolution Center of King County — Housing Stability Mediation
Trained, neutral mediators help tenants and landlords talk through problems such as unpaid rent, repairs, noise or other lease issues, by video (Zoom) or phone, so it works anywhere in King County. The VISTA housing program is free. Mediation is voluntary, so the other side has to agree to take part. Mediators are not lawyers and cannot give legal advice, and mediation cannot promise you will avoid an eviction. If both sides agree, the written agreement can be enforced in court. Staff say they follow up within three business days of your request. Services: housing mediation (VISTA program) for tenants and landlords, conflict coaching, community mediation
