United Way of King County — Free Tax Preparation

Free tax preparation by IRS-certified volunteers, including help claiming credits you qualify for (such as the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and the Washington Working Families Tax Credit) and ITIN renewals. CLOSED FOR THE SEASON: the program reopens in January, and there is no filing service until then. Questions: freetax@uwkc.org (no phone help). Services: free federal tax filing, help with credits, ITIN renewal, virtual and in-person options when open

Hours: Closed for the season; reopens in January. Questions: freetax@uwkc.org (no phone help). When open, in-person sites run January through April (some later) and there is a virtual option through GetYourRefund.org. Check uwkc.org for 2027 dates and locations.
